We’re more than 5!!

KGHI 91.1 FM/KGHE 89.1 FM has been providing classical music and progressive listening to the Harbor for over 5 years. We celebrated our 5th year of broadcasting classical music, and more, in March of this year. We thought about a big celebration and perhaps a big cake, but decided that our best celebration was to simply to continue to provide incredible music, thought-provoking programs, and access 24/7. Thanks to your support we continue to make music on the Harbor, from the ocean to the County Line.

We’d like to thank all of you who have joined or renewed during our membership drive. Your support is not just nice, it's necessary. And for those of you who have not yet sent in your tax-deductible donation, there is still time. Join and listen to classical music and more 24/7 on KGHI 91.1 and/or KGHE 89.1.

PLEDGE DRIVE - Yes, we need money

KGHI 91.1 FM and KGHE 89.1 FM need your help! In order to continue to bring you the fabulous music and programming that you've come to expect from KGHI, we need your financial support. We are committed to adding East County to our listening area, but this requires additional equipment and it also expands our costs of providing that service. Won't you please take a moment today and help support Grays Harbor 1st full-power Community Public Radio station. Simply press the big orange button and make a generous tax-deductible donation via PayPal or your credit card. If you'd rather send a check, simply make it out to The Grays Harbor Institute at PO Box 1892, Westport, Washington 98595-1892.

We appreciate that you listen to KGHI 91.1 and/or KGHE 89.1. We think it is really good radio. Your donation helps to affirm that.

Help test our signal!

We are test driving our signal. When on the Harbor, tune into 91.1/89.1 FM and listen. We still need to upgrade a couple of pieces of hardware, so you may experience some "down time" but stay tuned and let us know what you think. Click here to see our current programming schedule.

On March 5th, 2011, volunteers joined together and helped raise our new 100 foot self-supported broadcast tower. See the photos by clicking here.

Community Radio in the public interest continues as a reality!

These are exciting times for the Harbor!

Community radio is a reality in Grays Harbor. We have been broadcasting since March, 2011 and have added local shows and exciting national programs to our anchor music broadcast. We are bringing new voices to the Harbor – Native American programming, alternative news, women's issues, programs discussing race, LGBT issues, science, sports, and more.

But we're not done! We are always looking for new shows and new music so let us hear from you with your ideas and suggestions.

The most exciting news is that we have expanded to East County with a simulcast that allows us to reach as far as McCleary and the county line. Thanks to our technical consultant, Dr. Sandi Woodruff, we received the license to broadcast at 89.1 FM under the call letters, KGHE - it is the same great programming you hear on KGHI.

We have had the good fortune of help from many wonderful volunteers and we are very grateful. We hope to expand our support, both financially and with in-kind donations of time and equipment as we continue to grow.

Please continue to tune in to 91.1/89.1 FM and tell your friends.

Thank You!
