- Joined Laborers Local #252 in 1997, journeyed out in 2001, moved up in the field to foreman status; Organizing/Tribal Liaison for the Washington & Northern Idaho District Council of Laborers.
- Currently Board member of the following organizations; United Indians of all Tribes Foundation, Executive Board for Laborers Local #252, Sisters In the Building Trades and the Gray's Harbor Institute.
- Other activities include time spent with family; husband and 5 boys, two grandsons and one granddaughter. Active in local and state politics.
- Over 36 year involvement in non-profit organizations and boards, including low-income fund drives, educational institutions, local and statewide environmental organizations, and speaker forums.

- Successfully secured grants for environmental legal defense activities from The Bullitt Foundation, Northwest Fund for the Environment, Kongsgard-Goldman Foundation.
